  • It is an aromatic variety with high sugar content.
  • It is recommended for late plantations in Almeria and for the main season in Murcia.
  • Don Juan is resistant to Fusarium wilt 0 and 1 and to MNSV (Melon necrotic spot virus), and tolerant to Powdery mildew 1.

CLASICO

Clásico
  • “Shelf-life in traditional Galia melon for early planting”
  • Clásico is a traditional galia melon of strong and vigorous plant that provides a good leaves coating for the fruits.
  • Variety recommended for early plantations both in Almería and in Murcia, in either greenhouse or open air because of its earliness and good size.
  • Clásico is a variety with an excellent setting, and with a high, concentrated and early yield.
  • Their fruits are rounded, with a weight of 1 Kg., with good appearance, yellow color in its harvesting point and dense netting on the skin, without any cracking.
  • Its high sugar content allows it to be harvested in “pintón” (before changing to the completely ripened state).
  • It is remarkable the size and shape uniformity of fruits in a high percentage, with a very good behavior to the peduncle loss.
  • The flesh of the fruits has green color with good firmness and shelf-life (5-6 days under a normal environment temperature) and the fruit has a small seeds cavity.
  • The variety has a traditional aroma and a high content of sugar.
  • Clásico is resistant to Fusarium wilt 0 and 1 and has an intermediate resistance to powdery mildew.

VIRIATO

Viriato

  • It is recommended for middle planting, in the beginning and middle April.

  • Fruit sizes goes from 1 to 1.2 Kg. and the shape is very uniform.
  • The fruits are rounded, of yellow color, with dense and thin netting on the skin.
  • The flesh has green color, it has the traditional Galia flavor, high sugar content, good flesh firmness and the seeds cavity is small.
  • Viriato is resistant to Fusarium wilt 1 and 2, and has a good behavior to powdery mildew.

RUDY

Rudy
  • “Yield and uniformity for the late cycle”
  • Rudy is a Galia melon variety of very strong plant.
  • It is recommended for middle-late planting, by the end of April and in May.
  • It produces a very good yield.
  • Fruit sizes goes from 0.9 to 1.1 Kg. with good uniformity.
  • The fruits are rounded with dense and thin netting on the skin, and good behavior to the peduncle lost.
  • It has the traditional Galia flavor, high sugar content, good flesh firmness and the fruit has a small seeds cavity.
  • Rudy is resistant to Fusarium wilt 1 and 2, MNSV and shows a good behavior to powdery mildew.
